A little something I was working on last week as a one off commission. A Brighton to Paris cycling notebook. Including maps and tracing paper overlays to plan your route.
Since settling up Stanley James Press I have been lucky enough to work with some incredible people. Hopefully you all know who you are. You are the people who come to me with sometimes crazy ideas and inspire me to produce new, unusual and interesting work. I want to meet more and more people passionate about the projects they are working on and interested in trying to do things a bit differently.
I want to work on more projects with a bit of adventure built in, I want climbing a mountain to become research not something to do on my day off. I want to add a bit more theatre to the things I do, working with different people to create surprising experiences, spaces and things made of paper. I want to work on some things that are bigger than the small world I occupy, something long term and challenging. But mostly I want a year of collaborating on amazing projects with kindred spirits.
Thank you to all the brilliant people I got to work with in 2014, heres to another year of crazy ideas.
- Adventures in Iceland
- Wild camping, hiking and getting lost in the Lakes
- Seeing the Tour De France pass through Yorkshire
- Seeing all my sisters hard work in her final year degree show
We now do screen printing!
